Legitimacy & Licensing
When you bet with 888bet Tanzania, your account is with Port Achia Tanzania Limited. The company appears on the Gaming Board of Tanzania’s licensed-operator lists for both online sports betting and online casino gaming. You can check or register under the trading name “888 Bet.”
You must be at least 18 to use the platform. Under its terms, 888bet can ask you to provide proof of age at any stage to confirm that you meet its eligibility requirements.
If you cannot resolve a dispute with the bookmaker, you can raise it with the Gaming Board of Tanzania. The regulator handles complaints between players and licensed operators, including claims about winnings and how gambling activities were conducted.
Betting App
888Bet Tanzania does not currently have a dedicated mobile betting app. You can still use the bookmaker from your phone or tablet by opening its mobile-friendly website in your browser.
The mobile site gives you access to the main betting features, including placing bets, making deposits and requesting withdrawals. It works on both Android and iOS devices, so there’s no need to download an app to use 888Bet Tanzania on your phone.
Casino
You can play slots, table games and crash games at 888Bets Tanzania. The operator’s help centre lists more than 1,700 slot titles, alongside roulette, blackjack, baccarat, craps and poker. You also have access to video poker, bingo and scratch cards, with titles including Aces & Faces, Joker Poker and Signs of Fortune.
Your crash-game options include Aviator and Spaceman. In Aviator, you place your stake before take-off and decide when to cash out as the multiplier rises. You receive your stake multiplied by the cash-out value, but lose your bet if the plane flies away first. You can also set an automatic cash-out value before the round starts.
You’ll find live-dealer games too, with the help centre advertising more than 350 tables. Listed titles include Speed Roulette, Unlimited Blackjack, Monopoly Live, Crazy Time and Dream Catcher. You can access the casino games on both mobile and desktop.

Overall Verdict
888bet Tanzania gives you sports betting, slots, crash games and live-dealer tables under a local licence. You can play on your phone or computer and make payments through familiar services such as M-Pesa, Airtel Money and HaloPesa.
Your payment choices are where the site falls short. You can’t use cards or bank transfers, and you’ll need to withdraw to the same number you used to deposit. That’s less of an issue if you already rely on mobile money, but restrictive if you prefer other payment methods.
Withdrawal speed and customer support weren’t tested for this review, so neither can be counted among the site’s strengths.
